On 3 and 4 December, the 5th Project Meeting of ProLIGHTmed took place in Lezhë, Albania, hosted at the premises of the Municipality. The meeting brought together representatives of all project partners for two days of discussion, cooperation, and joint planning. During the first day, partners presented an overview of the project’s progress in each participating country. The session highlighted the main results achieved so far, with a focus on the best practices tested and implemented, the challenges encountered, and the priorities for the upcoming phases of the project. The second day continued with a site inspection in one of the pilot areas in Lezhë where the existing public lighting system will be upgraded and replaced with LED technology. This intervention will contribute to improving energy efficiency and supporting a greener, healthier, and safer environment for the local community.
A cultural highlight of the meeting was the study visit to the Lezhë Museum and the Skanderbeg Memorial, which gave partners the opportunity to explore the city’s rich cultural heritage.
Beyond technical discussions, the meeting was also a valuable opportunity for partners to spend time together ahead of the Christmas season, strengthening cooperation through exchange, networking, and convivial moments in a warm festive atmosphere.
Stay tuned for more updates on the next ProLIGHTmed activities and pilot implementations!
